The Negotiation Process:

The Negotiation Process...

how to get the most $ for your home...

I will be present whenever an offer is presented. If an agent contacts you directly to present an offer, ask them to contact me. I am representing your best interests and it’s critical that I be present to counsel you.

Having negotiated many successful transactions, there are a few suggestions I can offer...

RELAX... You will NOT have to accept anything...No one is going to pressure you into anything. You will be given all the time you need to review and discuss the offer.

DETACH...Step away from the emotional aspects of your “Home”. Pretend like it is simply a rental property. Difficult, but very helpful, this mind set will enable you to view the offer as a financial transaction, rather than someone trying to steal your home.

BE FLEXIBLE... If there is to be mutual agreement, both parties must feel satisfied with the outcome. It’s my challenge to assist both parties in reaching this common ground. Of course sellers all want 110% for their property and the nature of a buyer is to get it for the least amount possible. Think of yourself...You are no different from the buyer who is presenting the offer on your home. Would you buy a home if you didn’t feel satisfied that you were getting a fair price? Probably Not!

THINK AHEAD...Project a successful negotiation...everyone shaking hands...HAPPY!
